The team is recruiting again for more members to join the team. We only want people who have some past experience with the Gather-Network and also users who are reliable and will be continually active to help us in our mission to rid the Gather-Network of cheaters. We need your help to do this and this is the reason for the recruitment - you can find how to apply for this role below.

To apply for this position send a message to anticheatstaff@gather-network.com in the title please put "Application for AC-Team", anyone who does not do this in their application will automatically fail the first stage of recruitment. You must include the details located below.

You will be required to review demos sent in by our community and make a decision based on your own judgement whether or not you think the particular user cheats. You would also request unbans for users who have uploaded their demos and also ban users who have outstanding no-demo reports. On top of this you are required to idle in our help channel and assist users with all of their needs.

By joining the AC-Team, you will receive unlimited Premium Membership in the Gather-Network.

You will be required to put in at least 7 hours of work per week and all applicants must of played in excess of 300 gathers before you will be considered for the role.

Lately I've noticed many players banned for Illegal Models, that's why I decided to remind you what models are forbidden on Gather-Network. Here are some (but not all) legal and illegal models:

Those are some of the Illegal Models  and notice that if you'll use them, you'll be banned  by AC-Team.
You will also find this post, like the other forbidden things, on the General/Anticheat forum so you wont  forget what models are allowed on Gather-Network

Here are the commands that you need to use:

rate : 18000 - 30000
cl_updaterate 80 - 101
cl_cmdrate 80 -101
ex_interp 0.01
gl_picmic 0
cl_lw 1
cl_lc 1
cl_showevents 0
cl_showerror 0
cl_pmanstats 0

Other settings except those will result in a clientexploit ban and you will be banned by the acteam.

Here is a list with the commands your`re not allowed to use:

gl_monolight  except the default value 0
lightgamma except the default value 2.5

Olso the command : Gamma 3 Brightness 10 its not allowed because it gives major advantage :

Gamma 3 - Brightness 10




Non Brightness 10 + Gamma 3



If you change the values from default to any other will result in a clientexploit ban and you will be banned by the acteam.

Now for the map exploits that many of you dont know and for the new fellas that didnt catch the old newspost I made some pictures so you guys have a better understanding of the forbidden spots on different maps.

These are the forbidden spots to use on the Gather-Network, our team will ban you if you use any of them or any other client bug (tricky flashbang for e.g.), avoid using them or you might end up with a mapexploit ban.

This is an update and also a reminder of the forbidden spots/commands. You will also find this post spotlighted on the General/Anticheat forum so if you forget a setting or dont know which is allowed or not you can go and check it out in our forums.
